Playing with the characteristics of the Puchot Tower, the work located on the ground within the tower's enclosure creates a fragment of landscape, a crater, a cavity that seems to deepen as the material that composes it flows away.
Rising halfway up the interior of the tower, a walkway allows visitors to walk above and around the bas-relief located on the lower floor. It allows the sculpture to be viewed from above, accentuating its depth.
The installation thus evokes a strange giant hourglass, with the material seeming to flow towards an unknown space.
This artistic proposal deals with both questions of space and time. It evokes the passage of time while presenting a sculptural proposal that overturns spatio-temporal logic.
The contrast between the aesthetics of the work and the ancestral appearance of the building creates a disturbing impression and sketches a narrative that oscillates between the fantastical stories of ancient times and contemporary science fiction.

Jouant avec les caractéristiques de la Tour Puchot, l’œuvre située sur le sol dans l’enceinte de la Tour, créé un fragment de paysage, un cratère, une cavité qui semble se creuser au fur et à mesure de l’écoulement de la matière qui la compose.

S'élevant à mi-hauteur au niveau de l’intérieur de la tour, une passerelle permet de circuler au-dessus et tout autour du bas-relief situé à l’étage inférieur. Elle permet d’observer la sculpture depuis une vue plongeante et en accentue l’effet de profondeur.

L’installation évoque ainsi un étrange sablier géant, la matière semblant s’écouler vers un espace inconnu.

Ainsi investie, la tour ressemble alors à une machinerie destinée à façonner l’espace et le temps. Un instrument technique imaginaire permettant de transformer des ressources en paysage.

Le contraste entre l’esthétique de l’œuvre et l’aspect ancestral du bâtiment créé une impression troublante et esquisse un récit oscillant entre les histoires fantastiques des anciens temps et la science-fiction contemporaine.
